Arajet Graduates and Onboards New Pilots and Cabin Crew
As part of its strategic plan to develop the aviation industry in the Dominican Republic, Arajet announced the graduation and formal onboarding of new First Officers and cabin crew members into its commercial operations.
The initiative aims to enhance the sector’s operational capabilities and drive the growth of Dominican human capital in technical, operational, and service areas.
Strategic Partnership with Boeing and the “Cadet” Program
A key pillar of this growth is the strategic alliance established between Arajet and American manufacturer Boeing through the “Cadet” program.
- Comprehensive technical training: Selected pilots receive a full scholarship valued at over $300,000 USD per student.
- Guaranteed employment: Upon successful completion of the training program, participants are guaranteed a position with the airline.
- Newly Onboarded First Officers: Joining Arajet’s operational fleet are First Officers:
– Adrian De Jesus Troncoso Sosa
– Anibal Jose Baez Alcantara
– Emmanuel Neftaly Lopez Pena
– Emerson Ernesto Nang Cruz

Cabin Crew Training and Hiring
In parallel with the flight crew program, the airline completed the training of 18 new Dominican cabin crew members.
As with the flight deck staff, flight attendants received fully funded training scholarships, securing direct employment upon successful completion of their instruction. This personnel will strengthen the on-board experience, operational safety, and service standards across the carrier’s route network.
Arajet Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder, Victor Pacheco Mendez, emphasized the significance of these promotions for the national aviation ecosystem:
