German carrier Condor inaugurated scheduled regular flights between Frankfurt and Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv last Saturday. The new operation reinforces air connectivity between Germany and Israel, strengthening both point-to-point traffic and feeder demand through the airline’s primary hub.

The new route operates on a daily frequency under the following schedule:

  • Frankfurt Departure: Flights take off in the afternoon from the airline’s primary hub in Germany.
  • Tel Aviv Return: Flights depart from Israel the following morning.

This schedule is designed not only to capture direct demand between both markets, but also to feed Condor’s hub, allowing passengers originating in Israel to connect seamlessly with the airline’s global network, which encompasses more than 70 destinations worldwide.

“With the launch of our new service between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv, we are expanding our route network with an attractive destination in a region that is strategically important for Condor. Our customers will benefit not only from a convenient nonstop connection from Frankfurt, but also from seamless onward connections to Israel from all over the world. We look forward to welcoming more passengers onboard alongside our commercial partners in the future,” stated Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor.

Condor’s daily arrival into Tel Aviv not only increases available capacity on the Germany-Israel corridor, but also strengthens the airline’s strategic position in the Eastern Mediterranean.
