BermudAir Becomes Second Global Operator of Embraer E-Freighter

BermudAir has been confirmed as the world’s second operator of the Embraer E-Freighter cargo conversion program, marking the type’s inaugural deployment in the Americas. The carrier is set to add an E190F on lease from Regional One, representing a strategic push into the regional air cargo sector.

BermudAir’s current scheduled network connects ten destinations across the Caribbean, the United States, and Canada, utilizing an all-passenger fleet of two E175s and two E190s. Introducing the dedicated freighter variant allows the airline to leverage the versatility of the E-Jets family and diversify its revenue streams.

Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir, stated: “Cargo is a natural next step for us. We have built a reliable, right-sized operation connecting Bermuda and the Caribbean with North America, and the E190F allows us to put that same network to work moving express freight—supporting local businesses, e-commerce, and time-critical shipments across the island territories we serve. It represents an exciting business expansion for BermudAir, built directly upon our established operational strengths.”
