Final closing of these orders remains subject solely to approval by the shareholders of Bohai Leasing, which owns 70% of Avolon, expected before the end of October 2026.

Following these commitments, the lessor’s total owned, managed, and committed fleet stands at a pro-forma 1,342 aircraft (having closed the quarter at 1,092 units prior to the impact of these orders), consolidating total firm commitments of 749 aircraft.

Andy Cronin, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Avolon, highlighted the strength of global demand:

“We continue to see robust demand for new-technology aircraft, as reflected in our placement and trading activity this quarter. Against this backdrop, we are pleased to have reached agreements with Airbus and Boeing that strengthen and extend our long-term delivery pipeline. These orders further enhance our ability to support our airline customers’ future fleet requirements as they renew and expand their operations with the most fuel-efficient technology available.”

Final execution of the order package will firmly secure the extended delivery stream of narrowbody and widebody aircraft for Avolon’s commercial portfolio.
