Under a rigorous sanitary protocol to guarantee the safety and reliability of its passengers, starting today, SKY Airline<\/strong> will reactivate all of its national routes; while Brazil and Peru will join in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This, after the announcement made by the authorities last week to allow interregional flights between those communes that are in phase 3, 4 and 5 of the “Step by Step” plan of the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“During all these months we have worked hard to prepare for safe trips, activating all the necessary sanitary measures, to avoid any contagion and so that our passengers and crew can fly safely,” assured SKY CEO, Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Dougnac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From today, the low cost airline is flying to a total of 12 regions that contemplate the destinations of Arica, Iquique, Calama, Antofagasta, Copiap\u00f3, La Serena, Concepci\u00f3n, Temuco, Valdivia, Puerto Montt, Balmaceda and Punta Arenas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to these routes, as of October, SKY will resume flights to Osorno with a frequency of five weekly trips, which will be scheduled for Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, being the only airline that will be flying to this destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The trips starting today are very good news for everyone because they will allow us to increase our country’s connectivity and also to reactivate the tourism industry that has been so affected during these months of pandemic,” said Dougnac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the next few weeks, the frequency of flights to Copiap\u00f3 will also be increased, with two flights a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting this Thursday, October 1st, SKY will resume its flights to Brazil almost seven months after the interruption of its operations due to the Coronavirus crisis. Thus, the airline will resume flights to Sao Paulo, on Mondays and Fridays; and to Rio de Janeiro, on Mondays and Thursdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding its domestic operation in Peru, and after the announcement of the authorities of that country to allow international flights from October, the airline will start to fly to Lima from next Monday 5th, with a frequency of four flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/amp-auto-ads>\n\n\n\n
