fined British Airways 20 million pounds (22 million euros) for failing to protect the personal and financial data of more than 400,000 customers, Reuters reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See also: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/en\/2020\/10\/british-airways-farewell-to-the-queen-of-the-skies.html\">British Airways farewell to the \u201cQueen of the Skies\u201d.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Its lack of action was unacceptable and affected hundreds of thousands of people, which may have caused some anxiety and anguish as a result,&#8221; said ICO about a cyber attack that the airline suffered in
