Kennedy International Airport and Georgetown&#8217;s Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Guyana, beginning December 11, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See also: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/en\/2020\/10\/the-first-jetblue-airbus-a220-leaves-the-paint-shop.html\">The first JetBlue Airbus A220 leaves the paint shop.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The route will be operated with Airbus A321neo aircraft and will initially have four weekly frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline initially announced this new route in September 2019, but temporarily halted the sale and adjusted the launch schedule in response to changes in global travel demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See also: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/en\/2020\/10\/american-plans-737-max-tours-to-convince-passengers-the-plane-is-safe.html\">American plans 737 Max tours to convince passengers the plane is safe.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The service to Guyana introduces a diverse and underserved destination on JetBlue&#8217;s route map, and a very important one for New York City. Our nonstop service will benefit a variety of travelers and provide our industry-leading experience to travelers this vacation season,&#8221; said Andrea Lusso, vice president of route planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guyana becomes the fourth country in South America JetBlue serves and grows the airline\u2019s presence in the Caribbean and Latin America to nearly 40
