Within the framework of the 70th anniversary of the creation of Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas<\/strong>, during this Monday, a series of commemorative actions will be carried out, which will have as a starting point the publication of an institutional video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, at 20:00, Canal Encuentro will premiere “Planes de una Naci\u00f3n. The history of Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas”, a 26-minute documentary focusing on the reason and purpose of the flag carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, terminal C of Ezeiza International Airport was specially decorated with the commemorative logo and the Argentine Postal Service announced a new philatelic collection about Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas that can be purchased at its digital store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the year and through its networks, the company will share different commemorative pieces proposing a tour through its history using a huge amount of unpublished archives about its most iconic aircrafts and main landmarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth remembering that the company presented a special logo for its 70th anniversary as well as a Boeing 737 with retro paint, an action that caused great impact among nostalgic people and that does not go unnoticed every time the aircraft lands at any airport in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded 70 years ago by decree of President Juan Domingo Per\u00f3n through the merger of ALFA, ZONDA, FAMA and Aeroposta Argentina (known in those years as the “Argentine airlines”), the company was privatized in 1990 and brought to the brink of disappearance in 2001 and 2008, at which time it was recovered by the National State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the period 2009 -2015, the company underwent a modernization process that made possible the total renovation of its fleet, the inauguration of the CEFEPRA (Centro de Formaci\u00f3n y Entrenamiento de Pilotos de la Rep\u00fablica Argentina) and the construction of Hangar 5, among other achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
