new Chinese airline OTT Airlines begins operations."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The first commercial flight of <strong>OTT Airlines<\/strong>, a new airline that is a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines based in Shanghai that operates the passenger planes developed in China, took off from Hongqiao International Airport on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See also:<\/strong> <a jet, took off at 2:33pm and landed at Beijing Capital International Airport around 4:30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new airline&#8217;s fleet will mainly consist of ARJ21 and C919 regional aircraft, along receives first Boeing 777 Freighters.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OTT Airlines plans to receive three ARJ21s this year, another six in 2021 and eight in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After receiving its first ARJ21 on June 28, the airline has conducted a series of tests for its certification, which it finally obtained on December 25 from the China Civil Aviation Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
