The Council of Ministers has renewed this Tuesday the terms of entry restrictions to Spain from the United Kingdom, Brazil and South Africa until 18.00 hours on March 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, direct flights and passenger ships between the United Kingdom and Spanish airports and ports will continue to be limited from 18:00 hours on March 2 until 18:00 hours on March 16, both according to peninsular time, as well as flights with the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of South Africa during the same date, reported Notim\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the agreement, flights from any airport located in the United Kingdom, Brazil or South Africa to any airport located in Spain, with or without intermediate stopovers, may only be made by aircraft carrying exclusively Spanish or Andorran nationals, or residents of Spain or Andorra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of Brazil and South Africa, passengers in international transit to a non-Schengen country with a stopover of less than 24 hours without leaving the transit zone of the Spanish airport are also included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, only ro-ro passenger ships and passenger ships providing regular line services between ports in the United Kingdom and Spain that have embarked passengers in a British port will be allowed to enter Spanish ports when they are vessels carrying exclusively Spanish or Andorran nationals, or residents of Spain or Andorra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement establishes, however, some exceptions to these limitations, and empowers the Ministry of Health to lift the limitation, authorizing flights of aircraft on a case-by-case basis for justified reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
