Due to the pandemic, restrictions in several countries and the uncertainty that travelers still have, Avianca Holdings will temporarily suspend 24 international routes, mostly in South America, operating from Colombia, El Salvador, Panama, Ecuador and Guatemala, but also to the United States and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the airline, the routes will be resumed according to the evolution of the pandemic, in some cases during the first semester and in others, during the second semester, clarifying that, for the time being, such connections will not be closed indefinitely and in some cases will be resumed as from April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the above group, flights to Cura\u00e7ao and Orlando will return in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From El Salvador: Of the following group, the first three are scheduled to reopen in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

San Salvador – Toronto
San Salvador – Mexico City
San Salvador – Dallas
San Salvador – Miami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Guatemala: From the following list, which is suspended in March, the last two routes will be resumed in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guatemala City – Tegucigalpa
Guatemala City – Bogota
Guatemala City – Los Angeles<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Panama:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Panama City – San Jose, Costa Rica
Panama City – Bogota<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Honduras:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

San Pedro Sula – Miami<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Ecuador:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quito – Galapagos
Quito – El Coca<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In view of the new scenario, Avianca Holdings extended the validity of its ‘Compra tranquilo’ policy, whereby those who purchase tickets from January 1 to March 31, 2021 can change their travel date up to three times to fly until December 31, 2021, with no change penalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
