{"id":108778,"date":"2021-04-20T12:39:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-20T12:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=108778"},"modified":"2021-04-21T11:41:12","modified_gmt":"2021-04-21T11:41:12","slug":"avianca-flights-medellin-punta-cana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2021\/04\/avianca-flights-medellin-punta-cana.html","title":{"rendered":"Avianca announces non-stop flights between Medellin and Punta Cana."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Avianca <\/strong>announced this Tuesday that it will have direct flights between Medellin and Punta Cana as of July 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The route will have 4 weekly frequencies and will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft, which represents more than 4000 seats per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"667\" height=\"146\" src=\"http:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/avianca-Medellin-Punta-cana.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-108739\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/avianca-Medellin-Punta-cana.jpg 667w, https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/avianca-Medellin-Punta-cana-300x66.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/avianca-Medellin-Punta-cana-380x83.jpg 380w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 667px) 100vw, 667px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the second direct route that the airline will operate from Medell\u00edn this year, consolidating Avianca&#8217;s proposal to strengthen its network with non-stop flights and a product adapted to customer preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets are already available for sale with prices starting at USD299 per launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are very excited to continue offering new direct routes from Medell\u00edn. Punta Cana is the second destination we will add this year, as last week we also announced operations to Cancun, two destinations that are highly demanded by passengers from the Antioquia region&#8221;, said Ana Mar\u00eda Copete, Director of Sales Colombia, who also highlighted that Avianca will be the only airline operating the Medell\u00edn-Punta Cana route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
