Vel\u00e1squez Araguay\u00e1n, held a meeting with the president of<strong> Iraqi Airways<\/strong>, Kifah Hasan Jabbar, with the purpose of advancing in the conversations to establish a code-sharing agreement for cargo and passenger service between the Middle East and Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iraqi Airways is the flag carrier of the Republic of Iraq, is the second oldest airline in the Middle East and currently has a fleet of 28 aircraft in service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>See also: <\/em><\/strong><a videoconference, organized by the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Baghdad, the president of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC), M\/G Juan Manuel Teixeira, and the Venezuelan ambassador to Iraq, Arturo An\u00edbal Gallegos Ram\u00edrez, were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presidents of the flag airlines of both countries expressed their hopes for the prompt subscription of an air services agreement between both nations, which will allow the interconnection between the heart of the Middle East and the South American nation, so that in the coming weeks the authorities of the civil aviation institutes of both countries will be meeting to advance in this instrument of bilateral cooperation in air transport, according to a press release from the Venezuelan
