halts 737 MAX deliveries due to electrical issues."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Boeing<\/strong> on Wednesday confirmed a halt on <strong>737 MAX <\/strong>deliveries after electrical problems re-grounded part of the fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boeing has paused 737 MAX deliveries to address the electrical issues, and expects to \u201ccatch up on deliveries over the balance of the year\u201d, said Chief Executive Dave Calhoun told analysts on a conference call, Reuters reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>See also: <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/04\/qantas-boeing-first-class-lounge-museum.html\"><em>Qantas unveils replica Boeing 747-200 first class lounge in a museum.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Calhoun said he could not predict when the 737 MAX\u2019s electrical grounding issue would be resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also said he expects China to lift its grounding order on the 737 MAX in the second half of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The barrage of technical and financial challenges clouded optimism over a resurgent U.S. domestic travel market fueled by vaccinations and pent up demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
