This means that Lufthansa flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg can be carried out as planned,&#8221; a spokeswoman for the group told AFP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Russian airlines Aeroflot and S7 also announced the resumption of their links with Germany, according to Russian agencies TASS and Ria Novosti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Everything is fine, we have received all authorizations,&#8221; Aeroflot President Mikhail Poluboyarinov told TASS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two Lufthansa flights from Frankfurt had to be cancelled after Russian authorities failed to grant the necessary permits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Germany decided not to authorize incoming flights of Russian airlines into its airspace until the Moscow authorities approved the flights from Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, flights by Russian airlines Aeroflot and S7 could not take place on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week two flights of Air France and one of Austrian Lufthansa subsidiary Austrian Airlines were cancelled in the absence of a green light from Russia, which refused to agree to a new air route requested by the carriers to avoid Belarusian airspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
