EasyJet <\/strong>starts the summer season in a context in which Europe continues to prepare to resume travel with all safety guarantees, incorporating in July 18 new routes in Spain, the British low-cost airline said Tuesday in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These new routes, which include destinations such as Copenhagen (Denmark), Stockholm (Sweden), Bergamo (Italy) and Prague (Czech Republic), are also in response to easyJet’s readjustment of its schedule following the United Kingdom’s announcement to delay de-escalation until August, reported EFE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new connections will be offered from its three Spanish bases, Barcelona, which is fixed, and the seasonal ones in Palma de Mallorca and Malaga, until the end of October, as well as from Ibiza airport, which improves its connectivity with a new route to Venice, which the company will operate between July 20 and September 30, with three weekly frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

easyJet’s managing director for Southern Europe, Javier G\u00e1ndara, has stressed that the company has been preparing for the summer season for some time and is ready to resume summer operations “with a reinforced, flexible and varied flight schedule”, reflecting its commitment to Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Malaga base, inaugurated this June, will add 5 new connections to the existing ones, which are: Copenhagen and Bergamo, which will have three weekly frequencies, and Stockholm, Lille-Lesquin and Luxembourg, with two, all operating until October 28, 29 or 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Barcelona base is reinforced with 6 new routes: Copenhagen, Prague and Zurich (three weekly frequencies), Amsterdam (four) and Olbia and Salzburg (two), as well as Palma de Mallorca, in which case there will be flights to Copenhagen (four a week), Munich and Stockholm (three), and Gothenburg, Porto and Lille-Lesquin (two).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
