{"id":115110,"date":"2021-08-18T19:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-18T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=115110"},"modified":"2021-08-19T01:55:37","modified_gmt":"2021-08-19T01:55:37","slug":"emirates-codeshare-agreement-azul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2021\/08\/emirates-codeshare-agreement-azul.html","title":{"rendered":"Emirates signs codeshare agreement with Brazil&#8217;s Azul."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Emirates<\/strong> has signed a codeshare agreement with <strong>Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras <\/strong>which will allow customers to seamlessly connect to and from eight cities in Brazil to Emirates\u2019 global network via Sao Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the codeshare, customers will be able to connect to and from Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont, Belem, Belo Horizonte, Cuiaba, Curtiba, Juazeiro Do Norte, Porto Alegre and Recife airports on flights operated by Azul to Emirates flights from Sao Paulo to Dubai and beyond with a single ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>See also: <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/08\/emirates-and-aeromar-announce-interline-partnership.html\"><em>Emirates and Aeromar announce interline partnership.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets can be purchased starting August 18 for travel beginning August 25, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEmirates is delighted to be entering into a codeshare partnership with Azul to offer our customers an enhanced, smooth and convenient connectivity between eight cities in Brazil to\/ from Dubai and our global network through Sao Paulo. Brazil is an important market for Emirates and our cooperation with Azul underscores Emirates\u2019 commitment to strengthen our reach in the region and open up more options for our customers&#8221;, Adnan Kazim, Emirates\u2019 Chief Commercial Officer said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are very happy to announce this partnership with Emirates, which will provide seamless benefits to our customers. As the largest airline in Brazil in terms of destinations, this codeshare allows our customers to have unparalleled connectivity in Brazil and around the world\u201d, says Abhi Shah, Azul\u2019s Chief Revenue Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emirates currently has codeshare cooperation agreements in place with 21 airline partners and two rail companies around the world.
