{"id":116199,"date":"2021-09-16T18:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=116199"},"modified":"2021-09-16T21:18:02","modified_gmt":"2021-09-16T21:18:02","slug":"ryanair-raises-its-passenger-forecast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2021\/09\/ryanair-raises-its-passenger-forecast.html","title":{"rendered":"Ryanair raises its passenger forecast to 225 million per year by 2026."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Irish airline<strong> Ryanair<\/strong> on Thursday raised its five-year passenger forecast, provided there are no adverse Covid developments, and vaccinations remain at 90% or higher across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ryanair Group airlines now expect to deliver more rapid traffic growth over the next 5 years, and have raised their 5 year growth forecast from 33% to 50%. As a result, Ryanair\u2019s pre-Covid traffic of 149m is expected to grow to over 225m guests by March 2026, which is 25m passengers p.a. higher than the previous target of 200m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>See also: <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/09\/ryanair-invests-in-new-training-center.html\"><em>Ryanair invests \u20ac50 million in new Training Center in Dublin.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ryanair will take delivery of 210 B737 Gamechanger aircraft over the next 5 years. These aircraft will deliver industry lowest costs, reduced emissions, and will enable Ryanair accelerate its post-Covid growth, as opportunities open up at primary and secondary airports all over Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe performance of the B737 Gamechanger aircraft this summer has exceeded our expectations. Operational reliability, fuel consumption, and lower CO2 emissions have so far exceeded guidelines with very positive passenger and crew feedback to these new, more fuel efficient, quieter aircraft&#8221;, Ryanair\u2019s Michael O\u2019Leary said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>See also: <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/09\/ryanair-negotiations-for-max-10-order.html\"><em>Ryanair to help them recover traffic &amp; jobs post Covid, and take up slot opportunities that are being vacated by competitor airlines who have collapsed or significantly reduced their fleet sizes&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Ryanair expects to create over 5,000 new jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers over the next 5 years, and the Group is excited to have, earlier this week, opened a \u20ac50m Aviation Training Centre in Dublin, with 2 further high quality training centres planned for Spain and Poland over the next 5 years&#8221;, O&#8217;Leary added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
