{"id":116711,"date":"2021-10-02T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-02T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=116711"},"modified":"2021-10-03T02:03:17","modified_gmt":"2021-10-03T02:03:17","slug":"qantas-will-international-flights-restarts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2021\/10\/qantas-will-international-flights-restarts.html","title":{"rendered":"Qantas will international flights restarts ahead of schedule."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Qantas<\/strong> will bring forward the restart of its international flights to 14 November 2021, following the Federal Government\u2019s announcement that Australia\u2019s borders will open in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>See also: <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/09\/australia-does-not-approve-qantas-japan-airlines-deal.html\"><em>Australian regulator does not approve for Qantas-Japan Airlines deal.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The national carrier will operate three weekly return flights between Sydney and London and three weekly return flights between Sydney and Los Angeles with its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. These two destinations have been the most searched on qantas.com in recent weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fares are now on sale for Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate families and some visa holders. Fares start from $1662 return for Sydney-Los Angeles and $1869 return for Sydney-London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>See also:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/09\/qantas-airbus-a380s-resume-flying-in-2022.html\">Qantas Airbus A380s will resume flying from July 2022.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the Federal Government announces the exact date that Australia\u2019s international borders will reopen in November, the commencement dates for these two routes may need to be updated. Flights will be brought forward if its earlier than 14 November or moved to later in the month if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As previously indicated, all passengers on Qantas\u2019 international flights will be required to be fully vaccinated with a TGA-approved or recognised vaccine (some exemptions for medical reasons and children).
