Australian airline Qantas<\/strong> will bring forward the resumption of its international flights by two weeks to November 1, 2021, after the federal and New South Wales governments confirmed Friday that the borders will reopen on that date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192<\/strong> Emirates and Qantas extend partnership to boost of international travel.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has also welcomed the New South Wales Government’s decision to remove quarantine measures for the arrival of fully vaccinated travelers, which is in line with many countries around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qantas will operate up to five weekly flights from Sydney to London and up to four weekly flights from Sydney to Los Angeles with its Boeing 787 Dreamliners from November 1. Flights to London will operate via Darwin until at least April 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192<\/strong> Australian regulator does not approve for Qantas-Japan Airlines deal.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These initial flights are limited to Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate family members, in accordance with Australian Government requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights to other destinations, such as Singapore, Fiji and Vancouver, are still scheduled to commence from December 18, 2021, with other destinations resuming in the new year; however, in light of the move to remove quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travelers arriving in New South Wales, Qantas Group is considering bringing forward some additional destinations from Sydney, if possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
