On October 31, the new winter season begins, in which Spain’s Iberia<\/strong> will continue to push and bet on the recovery of its flight network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, it will increase the number of frequencies and recover destinations as a way to boost economic activity through business travel and facilitate reunions with family and friends, without forgetting to prolong the good taste of summer with an attractive offer aimed at the holiday segment with which to break the return to routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iberia celebrates this September the 75th anniversary of its flights to Latin America, its main market and the one on which it has developed its entire strategy in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has demonstrated its commitment to Latin America in good times and not so good times, always maintaining connectivity. In the coming winter season it will offer flights to 17 destinations in 15 Latin American countries and will already exceed 200 weekly flights to the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The markets with the greatest growth are Mexico -where it already offers two daily flights-, the Dominican Republic -with three more weekly flights, reaching 13 frequencies- and Colombia, with three more frequencies to Bogota, reaching 10; and Cali, a route that Iberia will recover from December with three weekly frequencies until March 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, it will increase its capacity to Central America and the Caribbean; specifically, Panama, Costa Rica and Guatemala-El Salvador will have one additional flight a week each, reaching six weekly frequencies for the first two and five a week for the Madrid-Guatemala-El Salvador triangular flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

San Juan, Puerto Rico also grows from three to four frequencies, Uruguay opens the new season with one more flight to six a week, and Havana completes the list of increases with three weekly frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buenos Aires, Lima, Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile will continue to have a daily flight; in the case of Argentina, the seven frequencies will be restored, subject to government approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
