Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) <\/strong>announced Thursday that it is updating its schedule and increasing the number of flights to and from the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAS will offer up to 100 flights per week during the Christmas and New Year period to and from the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Air France will operate up to 122 weekly flights to the U.S. this winter.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It is very gratifying that we are able to increase the number of flights and offer our customers the possibility to travel again and get to know the other side of the Atlantic, as well as meet friends and family,” said Karl Sandlund, Chief Commercial Officer of SAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline resumed the Stockholm – Miami route on November 8, Miami – Copenhagen on November 10 and Miami – Oslo on November 11. This means that SAS will have daily flights to Miami from Scandinavia during the winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is also increasing the number of departures to New York and will fly twice daily from Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, starting in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAS flies daily from Copenhagen to Chicago and will begin operating from Stockholm to Chicago from mid-December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will also increase the number of flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington DC from Copenhagen at Christmas and New Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
