777X passenger plane, a top executive said on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The U.S. planemaker is poised to launch what would be the world&#8217;s largest twin-engined freight plane as European rival Airbus seeks buyers for an A350 cargo version, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/aerospace-defense\/boeing-says-getting-close-resuming-787-deliveries-2021-11-13\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Reuters<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/11\/boeing-777x-at-dubai-airshow.html\">Boeing 777X will make its debut at Dubai Airshow 2021.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boeing is also sticking to plans to deliver its delayed 777X passenger version in 2023, Ihssane Mounir, senior vice president of commercial sales and marketing, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking at a news conference on the eve of the Dubai Airshow, Mounir said a recovery in commercial flying had achieved a &#8220;strong foothold&#8221; after COVID-19 lockdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/11\/boeing-accepts-liability-ethiopian-airlines-crash.html\">Boeing accepts liability for Ethiopian Airlines 737 Max crash.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qatar Airways has said publicly it is in negotiations with Boeing on the possible purchase of a 777X freighter, while FedEx is widely seen as another potential early buyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boeing is meanwhile &#8220;getting close&#8221; to resuming deliveries of its 787 Dreamliner after suspending them to deal with production flaws, Mounir said,
