{"id":118649,"date":"2021-11-19T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-19T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=118649"},"modified":"2021-11-20T00:52:33","modified_gmt":"2021-11-20T00:52:33","slug":"south-korea-lift-ban-on-boeing-737-max","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2021\/11\/south-korea-lift-ban-on-boeing-737-max.html","title":{"rendered":"South Korea will lift ban on Boeing 737 Max next week."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>South Korea will lift its ban on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/en?s=boeing\">Boeing<\/a> 737 Max<\/strong> on Monday and join the majority of countries that have allowed the plane to fly again after a lengthy grounding following two fatal crashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/11\/singapore-airlines-new-737-max-cabins.html\">Singapore Airlines unveils its new Boeing 737 MAX cabins.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision to clear the Max came after a thorough review of fixes made to the aircraft and monitoring of flights resumed in other countries, South Korea\u2019s transport ministry said in an emailed statement Friday. Cash-strapped budget carrier Eastar Jet Inc. is the only airline in the country that has Max planes, with two in its overall fleet of four aircraft. Korean Air Lines has 30 of the narrow-bodies on order and Jeju Air has 40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The transport ministry said it will step up safety checks to make sure airlines are providing adequate
