{"id":119536,"date":"2021-12-09T19:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=119536"},"modified":"2021-12-09T23:40:44","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T23:40:44","slug":"jetblue-aer-lingus-expand-codeshare","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2021\/12\/jetblue-aer-lingus-expand-codeshare.html","title":{"rendered":"JetBlue and Aer Lingus expand codeshare partnership across the North Atlantic."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>JetBlue<\/strong> thursday announced it is expanding its codeshare partnership with<strong> Aer Lingus<\/strong> \u2013the Irish flag carrier \u2013 to offer customers more ways to book and connect their travel between the two airlines\u2019 networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/12\/american-reduce-international-flights.html\">American to reduce international flights due to delays in Boeing 787 deliveries.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the new codeshare, JetBlue is placing its code on four Aer Lingus routes between two cities in the northeastern United States and Ireland:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>From New York John F. Kennedy International Airport to:<\/strong><br>Dublin Airport<br>Shannon Airport<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>From Boston Logan International Airport to:<\/strong><br>Dublin Airport<br>Shannon Airport<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>JetBlue intends to add its code to select Aer Lingus routes beyond Ireland in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cConnecting our customers with more of the destinations they want to fly to ensures JetBlue grows its relevance in the Northeast, and by expanding our partnership with Aer Lingus we\u2019re introducing new options for travelers flying between the U.S. and Ireland,\u201d said Joanna Geraghty, president and chief operating officer, JetBlue. \u201cMore than 13 years after Aer Lingus became our very first international airline partner our relationship continues to strengthen in ways that bring more benefits customers on both sides of the Atlantic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2021\/12\/pans-att-verizon-5g-precautions.html\">U.S. aviation industry pans AT&amp;T, Verizon 5G precautions.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur relationship with JetBlue is long-standing and valued,\u201d said Lynne Embleton, chief executive officer and chairman, Aer Lingus. \u201cAll at Aer Lingus are looking forward to extending a warm Irish welcome to more JetBlue customers. These customers can now travel seamlessly to Dublin and Shannon airports as we continue to connect friends and families, businesses and colleagues from the US and Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JetBlue and Aer Lingus have partnered since 2008 and in 2013 announced a unilateral codeshare agreement. Today, the Aer Lingus codeshare is available on more than three dozen JetBlue routes and offers customers convenient connections through cities such as New York and Boston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
