Delta Air Lines <\/strong>inaugurated flights from New York (JFK) to Panama City on Monday, the airline’s third inaugural flight in three days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta’s expansion in the Central American country began on December 18 with new service from Panama to Los Angeles and Orlando and a second flight to the airline’s Atlanta hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Del<\/a><\/em><\/strong>ta will fly between New York and Stockholm in 2022.<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta\u2019s expansion in Panama, arriving just in time for the busy holiday travel period, represents an 80 percent increase in capacity versus the same period in 2019, with the airline now offering 13 weekly flights, the largest number between the two countries since the launch of service in 1998.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Los Angeles and Orlando flights will operate once a week on Boeing 757 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft, respectively. New York will operate on the Boeing 737-800 three times a week, increasing to four in March 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Delta will invest US$1.2 billion in Aeromexico, Latam Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
