Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas <\/strong>is getting ready to start the summer season with significant increases in the frequencies of its domestic destinations, special seasonal flights and new inter-leg routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The destinations most chosen by Argentines for vacations will have more frequencies during the months of January and February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of Bariloche, there will be 63 weekly frequencies from Aeroparque and Ezeiza, adding 10 extra flights compared to December. In addition, there will be 7 weekly flights from Rosario, 6 from C\u00f3rdoba and 2 from Mendoza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Aerol\u00edneas Argentin<\/a><\/em><\/strong>as will fly to Porto Alegre (Brazil) starting in January.<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Calafate will have 35 weekly frequencies from Aeroparque and Ezeiza, adding 3 extra flights compared to December. In addition, there will be 2 weekly flights from C\u00f3rdoba and 14 from Ushuaia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iguaz\u00fa, another of the most chosen destinations, will have 30 weekly frequencies from Aeroparque and Ezeiza, adding 4 flights compared to December. In addition, there will be 4 flights from C\u00f3rdoba, 3 from Salta, 2 from Tucum\u00e1n and 2 from Rosario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mar del Plata will have 21 weekly frequencies from Aeroparque. In addition, 4 weekly from C\u00f3rdoba and 2 weekly from Rosario, Tucum\u00e1n and Mendoza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salta, will have 29 weekly frequencies from Aeroparque and Ezeiza, adding 6 extra flights. In addition, it will start operating frequencies between Resistencia and Salta with 2 weekly flights and will operate 6 weekly flights with C\u00f3rdoba, 3 from Mendoza, 2 from Neuqu\u00e9n, 3 from Rosario and 3 from Iguaz\u00fa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas will add two more Airbus A330s its fleet.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trelew will have 14 frequencies from Aeroparque and Ezeiza, adding 2 extra flights. It will also have 2 weekly flights from C\u00f3rdoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ushuaia will have 40 weekly frequencies from Aeroparque and Ezeiza, adding 13 extra flights. In addition, there will be 3 weekly flights from C\u00f3rdoba and 14 from El Calafate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, important increases are expected in routes such as San Rafael, which will have a daily flight instead of the current 4; Neuqu\u00e9n, which adds 2 extra flights and will operate 18 weekly flights; Comodoro Rivadavia, which adds 3 extra flights and will operate 21 weekly frequencies; Puerto Madryn, which adds 2 extra flights and will operate 6 weekly frequencies; and Rosario, which adds 5 extra flights and will operate 18 weekly frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, other destinations such as Formosa, Santiago del Estero and San Luis will start operating daily flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEW INTER-LEGS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As from January, the new C\u00f3rdoba – San Juan route will start operating with 2 weekly flights, being this another inter-leg route that will be incorporated to the C\u00f3rdoba Hub, which will allow the people of San Juan to connect with the north and south of the country without passing through Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the aforementioned Resistencia – Salta, which connects Formosa with the Northern Federal Corridor, has been started. As well as Rosario – Iguaz\u00fa and Viedma – Bariloche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, the airline will be operating 36 federal inter-leg flights, bypassing Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In summary, during the summer months the airline will fly an average of 190 flights per day, which means transporting more than 24,000 passengers daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We have full occupancy in all domestic destinations, which is a great joy because it is not only good for our company but for the entire tourism and hotel sector and the country in general,” said Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, it is worth mentioning that Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas’ domestic schedule this summer in terms of seat supply represents 90% of the pre-pandemic levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
