Despite the impact of the Omicron variant and the increase in COVID-19 infections, LATAM Airlines <\/strong>maintains an operational trend similar to that shown in January of this year estimating commercial flight operations for February to reach up to 66% (measured in available seat kilometers – ASK) compared to the same month of 2019, in a pre-pandemic context. The estimate could be corrected by the increase in cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM expects to operate approximately 1,059 daily domestic and international flights during February, connecting 132 destinations in 18 countries. The cargo business has 1,110 flights scheduled on freighter aircraft with an average utilization level 6% higher than the same period in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 LATAM recognized as most sustainable airline group in Americas and fourth most worldwide.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In January 2022, passenger traffic (measured in revenue passenger-kilometers – RPK) was 65.4% compared to the same period of 2019, based on an operation measured in ASK (available seat-kilometers) of 69.5% compared to January 2019. This implied that the occupancy factor reached 80.4%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In cargo, the occupancy factor was 53.5%, which corresponds to an increase of 1.2 percentage points compared to January 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
