Avianca<\/strong> received Civil Aeronautics approval for the code-share agreement with EasyFly<\/strong>, which it requested in order to expand its regional route network with 18 additional connections, including the operation to Manizales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to this alliance, Avianca’s customers will be able to travel to more regional destinations in Colombia, in connection with its most complete route network in the country and one of the largest in Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Avianca reduces requirements to achieve and maintain LifeMiles Elite status.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a single ticket, travelers will be able to connect to and from the regions on flights operated by both airlines in a simple and efficient manner. Likewise, tickets for routes operated by EasyFly can be purchased through Avianca’s sales channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order for customers to enjoy the benefits of this agreement as of the second quarter of the year, Avianca and EasyFly teams are working together on the technological and operational implementation of the codeshare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Avianca announces 7 new routes and reactivation of 2 more starting in March.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We continue to strengthen Colombia’s air connectivity. With the approval of this alliance, we will join forces with EasyFly, an expert operator in the regions of the country, which will complement Avianca’s offer and allow us to keep connected those cities that can only be served with turboprop fleet as is the case of Manizales. We are making good progress in the implementation so that in the coming months our travelers will be able to connect to and from the regions through the Avianca network”, said Julian Laverde, Avianca’s Vice President of Network and Airport Operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Alfonso Avila Velandia, president of EasyFly, the approval of the code share is the result of working together for the benefit of travelers. “Making this project a reality is very positive for the national airline industry, especially for the hundreds of travelers who every day use EasyFly’s fleet of airplanes to meet their different needs. This code share ratifies the Company’s value promise of offering an easy and efficient service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
