{"id":122626,"date":"2022-02-28T19:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-02-28T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=122626"},"modified":"2022-03-01T00:28:26","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T00:28:26","slug":"latam-move-international-operations-to-new-terminal-santiago-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2022\/02\/latam-move-international-operations-to-new-terminal-santiago-airport.html","title":{"rendered":"LATAM will move its International Operations to new Terminal 2 at Santiago Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Starting next Wednesday, March 2, <strong>LATAM Airlines <\/strong>will move its international passenger operation to the new Terminal 2 at the Santiago de Chile Airport, beginning with flight LA2370 (destination Lima, departure time 5:35 am).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/02\/latam-airlines-to-resume-flights-rome-and-boston.html\">LATAM Airlines to resume flights from Brazil to Rome and Boston.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to minimize the inconvenience of this change to your passengers&#8217; experience, the airline recommended:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Anticipate showing up at the airport 4 hours before departure of an international flight.<\/li><li>Once you arrive at the airport, present yourself at LATAM&#8217;s self-check-in counters. If you need to check baggage, you can do so at the islands located from zone H to the west of the new terminal. If you require assistance, go to the special service counter.<\/li><li>If you are making a connecting flight from a domestic to an international destination (or vice versa), consider the transfer times between terminals, which can reach up to 15 minutes walking.<\/li><li>In the case of a connection from an international to a domestic destination, you will need to pick up your baggage upon arrival in Chile and re-check it at Terminal 1.<\/li><li>Consider the travel time between the check-in area of the new terminal and the boarding gate, which can take up to 15 minutes.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Domestic flights will continue to operate at the current terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"related-topics\">Related
