With these additions, the airline will have a total fleet of 80 aircraft by summer 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/02\/norwegian-air-makes-profit-after-restructuring.html\">Norwegian Air makes profit after restructuring.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe addition of these aircraft will help us achieving our target of building a larger, modern and more fuel-efficient fleet. This will in turn enable us to deliver our products and services in a wide network of routes in the Nordics and to European destinations,\u201d said Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Norwegian has previously announced several lease agreements that will increase its fleet from the current 51 aircraft to this summer\u2019s fleet of 70. For some of the aircraft under these agreements, Norwegian has the option to substitute certain aircraft with equivalent narrow-body models from Airbus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"
