As of April 1, Avianca <\/strong>will increase its flights between San Jos\u00e9 and Lima from 4 to 7 weekly frequencies. With this increase, the airline will make available to passengers more than 4 thousand seats per month for the route, with which it seeks to promote tourism between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far this year, the airline has transported more than 2 thousand passengers and has had a high level of performance with occupancy factors above 95%. For this reason, the company decided to increase flights between both destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last December, the airline introduced its new business model, which merges its 102-year legacy with the best of the low-cost world. As a result, customers in Costa Rica can now fly with Avianca at very competitive prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More routes also to Colombia and Ecuador<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avianca also announced that during March and April it will launch 3 new routes connecting Cartagena, Medellin (Colombia) and Quito (Ecuador) with San Jose, adding around 1,500 weekly seats to its available offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Avianca will operate to Manizales via codeshare with EasyFly.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During 2021, the company launched 5 non-stop routes to the United States and Mexico, consolidating its commercial proposal for Costa Ricans and expanding the country’s connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Avianca has 119 routes to more than 65 destinations in the Americas and Europe, with more than 3,200 flights per week and an offer of more than 500,000 seats per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
