The LATAM <\/strong>group recently implemented “Ready to fly”, an additional and optional digital service that seeks to facilitate the experience of its customers, specifically in terms of documentation required for travel in times of global health crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The passenger will be able to send the required health documents by Whatsapp, between 6 and 48 hours before the flight, facilitating the organization of the documentation and its presentation in advance for checking by the airline. LATAM Group will review them and provide a response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This new functionality adds to the various tools that the group has made available to passengers and that aim to improve their travel experience, reducing pre-flight processing times and optimizing time at the airport,” says Paulo Miranda, LATAM Airlines Group’s Vice President of Customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does it work?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The passenger or user will receive an email with a link to the LATAM Airlines Whatsapp account.<\/li>
  2. If interested in using this service, the passenger must select the language in which he\/she wishes to be attended.<\/li>
  3. The passenger will receive the Terms and Conditions associated with the service and must expressly accept them in order to continue.<\/li>
  4. The passenger must enter his\/her travel information.<\/li>
  5. The system will ask the passenger for his\/her identity document, the mandatory health form, in addition to the COVID test or updated vaccination certificate (these documents must be sent in PDF or image format), according to the health requirements of each country.<\/li>
  6. Once reviewed, the passenger will receive a confirmation or rejection message within the same day.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The incorporation of this tool seeks to generate greater convenience for its passengers and a shorter waiting time at the airport, in addition to minimizing denied boarding due to incomplete travel documentation. Likewise, the LATAM group reinforces its commitment to security as an essential element in the operation of LATAM group flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
