In line with its goal of inaugurating 50 new routes by 2023 in its global network and with a strong commitment to Cartagena, this weekend the first Avianca<\/strong> flights took off from Rafael N\u00fa\u00f1ez Airport connecting Cartageneros directly with New York, Miami and San Jos\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will offer 14 flights per week with more than 2,000 seats per week between Cartagena and New York; and 8 flights per week with more than 1,200 seats between Cartagena and San Jos\u00e9. These routes will be operated on Airbus A320 family aircraft with capacity for 150 customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Avianca’s customers in Cartagena will once again have at their disposal 14 weekly flights that will connect Cartagena nonstop with Miami, one of the main destinations in the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the company’s more than 10 alliances with other airlines around the world, travelers will be able to connect to more than 90 destinations in the Americas, Asia and Oceania from Miami and New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undoubtedly, this continues to be a strategic region for Avianca’s operations and also for tourism and business in Colombia. We completed 8 routes in operation in Cartagena and we will continue to grow with more connectivity, more destinations and more seats for everyone,” said Ana Mar\u00eda Copete, Director of Sales Colombia for Avianca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the reactivation of 4 iconic routes as well as the inauguration of 8 new ones in Colombia and Costa Rica, Avianca will offer its customers a network of 129 routes connecting more than 65 destinations with more than 3,800 weekly flights and more than 610,000 seats per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
