Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways<\/strong> announced Wednesday that it will fly coast-to-coast in the United States starting next fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline plans to land at a small airport located in upstate New York. Located 30 miles northeast of LaGuardia Airport by car, the Westchester airfield is popular with residents of suburban communities in Westchester County, New York, and Fairfield County, Connecticut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daily flights to Los Angeles International Airport will begin Sept. 7, while daily flights to Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport begin Sept. 8 and flights to San Francisco International Airport begin Nov. 2. These three routes feature fares starting at $149 in “nice” economy class, a $239 “nicer” fare with extra legroom and a $249 “nicest” fare with first-class reclining seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Service on these flights will be operated by the new Airbus A220-300.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breeze will operate the A220 starting next month, although a few weeks later than originally planned due to FAA certification delays. These aircraft are configured with 126 seats, including 36 reclining seats, 10 seats with extra legroom and 80 standard seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the three transcontinental routes, Breeze is also launching nonstop service to four other destinations. Flights to Charleston, South Carolina, begin June 28, while service to Norfolk, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida, will start June 30. Flights to Savannah, Georgia, begin September 9. One-stop service to New Orleans also begins June 30 via Jacksonville and Sept. 9 via Savannah. These routes will be operated with the Embraer 190 and 195 fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Nice” fares start at $49 to Norfolk and New Orleans and $79 to Charleston, Jacksonville and Savannah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
