{"id":126324,"date":"2022-05-10T19:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T19:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=126324"},"modified":"2022-05-10T22:07:06","modified_gmt":"2022-05-10T22:07:06","slug":"avianca-to-fly-between-san-jose-and-washington","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2022\/05\/avianca-to-fly-between-san-jose-and-washington.html","title":{"rendered":"Avianca to fly between San Jose and Washington, D.C. starting in July"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Starting July 15, <strong>Avianca<\/strong> will operate its new route between San Jos\u00e9 (Costa Rica) and Washington (USA), which will directly connect the capitals of both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline will make available to passengers more than 1,800 seats per month, to fly on 4 weekly flights (Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from Juan Santamaria International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/03\/avianca-starts-three-routes-from-cartagena.html\">Avianca starts three international routes from Cartagena.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our purpose is to continue connecting Costa Ricans with the rest of the world and to continue promoting tourism by attracting travelers from more destinations to the country. We are confident that, thanks to our competitive price offer and our extensive customization capabilities, Costa Ricans and tourists will find Avianca an unbeatable travel option,&#8221; said Rolando Damas, Avianca&#8217;s Sales Director for North America, Central America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the entry into operation of this new route, Avianca will reach 13 direct destinations,
