LATAM Airlines Group<\/strong> projects a passenger operation of up to 73% for May (measured in available seat kilometers – ASK) compared to the same month of 2019 (pre-pandemic scenario). This would be the fourth month of a positive operational trend for the group, hand in hand with the reactivation of routes and the debut of new destinations to the global connectivity network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 LATAM was Brazil\u2019s most punctual airline in first quarter.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM expects to operate approximately 1,115 daily domestic and international flights during May, connecting 133 destinations in 20 countries. Among this month’s highlights is the start of operations on the Brasilia-Sinop route in the Brazilian domestic market. The cargo business, meanwhile, has scheduled 1,210 flights on freighter aircraft. All these projections are subject to the evolution of the pandemic in the countries where the group operates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April 2022, passenger traffic (measured in revenue passenger-kilometers – RPK) was 69.4% compared to the same period of 2019, based on an operation measured in ASK (available seat-kilometers) of 71.2% compared to April 2019. This implied that the occupancy factor decreased 2.1 percentage points to 81.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In cargo, the occupancy factor was 59.3%, which corresponds to an increase of 3.3 percentage points compared to April 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
