Starting this Tuesday, travelers will have more opportunities to connect to and from Colombia’s regions. EasyFly <\/strong>and Avianca<\/strong> announced the launch of their codeshare agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Avianca requests authorization to resume flights to Caracas, Venezuela.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this first phase, travelers will have the opportunity to purchase tickets through Avianca’s sales channels to fly from June 6 on 17 regional routes operated by the expert operator in this market, EasyFly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It connects to and from Colombia’s regions with 17 routes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Between Bogota and: Barrancabermeja, Florencia, Manizales, Neiva, Popay\u00e1n, Puerto As\u00eds, Quibd\u00f3 and Yopal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Between Arauca and: Bogot\u00e1, Bucaramanga and C\u00facuta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Between Cali and: Guapi, Neiva, Neiva, Pasto, Quibd\u00f3, Tumaco and Villavicencio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the second half of 2022, the companies will have the code-share agreement operating in full with 20 routes, so that domestic and international travelers can purchase connecting tickets on flights of the two airlines to fly to more than 70 regional, national and international destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are proud to have an expert partner in the Colombian regions such as EasyFly to offer our customers more and better connectivity opportunities within Colombia, with a regional route network that today is operated in a specialized way. In addition, in the second half of 2022, customers in the regions will be able to connect with a single ticket to Avianca’s domestic and international destinations. Likewise, international travelers and travelers from the rest of Colombia will be able to connect with various regions of the country, thanks to the full implementation of the agreement,” said Julio Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez, Avianca’s Director of Alliances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, Alfonso Avila, President of EasyFly, said: “We are confident that with the start of this agreement, regional connectivity will be strengthened and our passengers will now have a more robust network that will allow them to enhance tourism, economic, commercial, educational and health development in their regions. Easyfly continues to grow to connect Colombians, and with this alliance, the result of a coordinated work of both companies, which without ceasing to compete, will offer as of June 6 more options to travel to destinations inside and outside Colombia, with quality and commitment.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Avianca’s customers have an offer of 128 routes, more than 3,800 weekly flights and more than 600,000 seats per week connecting to 65 destinations in the Americas and Europe. Likewise, the EasyFly network has 57 routes, more than 1,000 flights per week and more than 53,000 seats per week connecting Colombia’s regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
