The recovery in passenger demand and the incorporation of new aircraft to the company’s fleet allow Air Europa<\/strong> to gradually resume its flight frequency to its destinations in the Americas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting in June, the airline will fly daily to Lima, as it currently does to Santo Domingo, Buenos Aires, Bogota and Sao Paulo; and will increase to six weekly frequencies to Miami, Cordoba and Asuncion. The increase in frequencies is also reflected in New York, Quito and Guayaquil, where from next month a total of five flights a week will be operated, and will reach four weekly flights in Cancun, Panama, Medellin, Santa Cruz de la Sierra and Montevideo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Air Europa resumes flights to Athens and Alghero this summer.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to these destinations, Air Europa also operates with its Dreamliner fleet to Punta Cana, Havana, San Pedro Sula and Caracas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This increase in supply will make it possible, during the course of this year, to recover and even surpass the capacity levels prior to the appearance of the coronavirus. To this end, and as part of the new stage of growth and expansion in which Air Europa finds itself after completing its transformation process, eleven new aircraft will be incorporated this year, five of them Boeing 787 Dreamliner long-haul aircraft, with which the unification and consolidation of the fleet will be reinforced. This model, one of the most modern, efficient and sustainable on the market, not only offers passengers a high level of comfort, but also guarantees a reduction of up to 20% in fuel consumption and atmospheric emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Air Europa will have recovered all of its routes to the Americas from its strategic hub at Barajas. Throughout 2022, a total of 23 destinations will be reached, to which a further 33 in Spain and Europe will be added, while the seats offered for the second half of the year will exceed by 5% those available in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
