Copa Airlines<\/strong> announced Friday that beginning September 26, 2022, it will serve, initially with three weekly frequencies, the Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA)<\/strong> in the Mexico City metropolitan area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight to AIFA will operate on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing at 9:20 a.m. from Tocumen International Airport, Panama (local time) and arriving at Felipe Angeles International Airport, Mexico City, at 1:22 p.m. (local time). The return flight will depart the same days at 3:29 p.m., arriving in Panama at 7:22 p.m. (local time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Copa Airlines to operate from Tocumen Airport Terminal 2 starting June 22nd.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Mexican market has been very important to Copa Airlines, and we are pleased to be able to offer alternatives that allow us to continue strengthening our service to its capital city. In this way, we remain steadfast in our goal to increase connectivity in the countries where we operate, and contribute to the growth of tourism, investment and economic and social development in our region,” said Pedro Heilbron, CEO of Copa Airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these new flight frequencies, Copa Airlines will expand its offerings to and from Mexico City, becoming the first airline to serve this new airport from an international hub such as the Hub of the Americas, located at Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport, where passengers will be able to connect to more than 75 destinations throughout the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copa Airlines continues to boost air connectivity in the region by adding more destinations to its network. With the announcement of the new flight to AIFA and the start of operations later this month to Santa Marta in Colombia and Barcelona in Venezuela, the airline adds three new destinations to its route network so far this year. In this way, it offers more flight options to passengers, thus contributing to the development of tourism and economic activity in the communities where it operates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
