The passenger terminal now has a new automatic baggage system, the most modern in the country; a renovated and expanded check-in area; a larger and renovated VIP lounge; new health centers and new commercial and gastronomic premises. In addition, 2 new jetways were incorporated (there will be 3) that include a core that allows disembarking and embarking in remote positions, while the extension of the auxiliary platform is planned in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/06\/bogotas-el-dorado-the-best-airport-in-south-america.html\">Bogota\u2019s El Dorado the best airport in South America, according to Skytrax.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inauguration ceremony was attended by the governor of R\u00edo Negro, Arabela Carreras; the president of ORSNA, Carlos Lugones Aignasse; the president of the ANAC, Paola Tamburelli; the president of EANA, Gabriela Logatto; the CEO of Aeropuertos Argentina 2000, Daniel Ketchibachian; the national deputy director of the PSA, Valeria Endrek; the mayor of Bariloche Enrique Gennuso; national, provincial and council legislators and representatives of business chambers and airlines operating in Bariloche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today the airport has a weekly average of 340 domestic and international flights. The number of passengers transported in Bariloche during the first half of this year increased by 20% compared to the same period in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"
