Airport enables landing system for low visibility operations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After a certification process, the Civil Aeronautics put into operation the ILS CAT III system, at the western head of the north runway (13L) of the <strong>El Dorado Airport<\/strong> in Bogot\u00e1, which will allow the approach of aircraft in low visibility conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the system was installed, it was necessary to carry out a strict certification process by the Secretariat of the Civil Aeronautics Authority, which was completed putting operational safety at risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The implementation of Category III (CAT III) will benefit air transport users, reducing delays, overruns and diversions to alternate airports caused
