With the aim of continuing to strengthen the point-to-point connectivity of millions of travelers in Colombia with direct flights, Avianca <\/strong>and Aeropuertos de Oriente<\/strong> – concessionaire of the Camilo Daza International Airport – inaugurated this Wednesday the new routes that connect C\u00facuta non-stop with Cali and Medellin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On each route, Avianca customers will be able to access 8 weekly flights with an offer of nearly 1,200 seats per week on Airbus A320 family aircraft with capacity for more than 150 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe entry into operation of these two new routes is a commitment to the potential of C\u00facuta, the border and the entire region of Norte de Santander. At a historic moment for Colombia and its neighboring countries, air connectivity will be essential for the economic, commercial and tourist development of all of Latin America. We are optimistic and will work together with the region and all the actors involved so that these routes are successful, are maintained and thus promote new connections that allow Cucute\u00f1os to fly directly to more destinations in Colombia and America\u201d, said Felipe Andr\u00e9s G\u00f3mez , Director of Institutional Relations and Sustainability of Avianca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the inauguration of these two new routes, the airline will offer direct flights to Bogot\u00e1, Cali and Medell\u00edn with a total offer of more than 100 weekly flights and more than 15,000 seats per week. Thus, travelers in C\u00facuta flying with Avianca will be able to connect with the strongest air network in Colombia and one of the largest in Latin America with the operation of around 130 routes, more than 3,800 flights a week and more than 600,000 weekly seats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
