Qantas<\/strong> reported this Thursday that it will resume flights to New York, with a new service from Australia to the Big Apple via Auckland from June 14, 2023, after a pause of three years induced by COVID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route will initially operate three weekly flights on Boeing 787 Dreamliners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Qantas will have a new Flight Training Center in Sydney.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce said flying via Auckland would provide better connectivity from more destinations in Australia, ahead of a 16-hour uninterrupted flight to New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are flying to most of our pre-COVID destinations again, which is a fantastic achievement for our teams and hugely important for Australians to reconnect with the rest of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qantas currently operates six daily services to Auckland from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, which will increase to 11 daily services when the new flight to New York is launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
