This is the first simulator of its kind in North America and will support the airline&#8217;s pilot training as part of its previously announced order for up to 100 E195-E2 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This is another step forward in our growth plans, as pilots will soon have the opportunity to start their training ahead of our first flights with the Embraer E195-E2 later this year,&#8221; said Paul Moreira, executive vice president and director of Porter Airlines operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/07\/e195-e2-makes-debut-touchdown-at-london-city-airport.html\">E195-E2 makes debut touchdown at London City Airport.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The simulator is located at FlightSafety International&#8217;s Toronto Learning Center, where more than 650 of the airline&#8217;s pilots will receive training for both the E195-E2 and Dash 8-400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership with Porter Airlines to train best-in-class aviators,\u201d said Brad Thress, president and CEO of FlightSafety
