The agreement also includes an option for the delivery of an additional A321XLR in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/05\/air-transat-opens-direct-route-montreal-san-francisco.html\">Air Transat opens direct route from Montreal to San Francisco.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cALC is pleased to announce this lease placement for four new A321XLRs with Air Transat and to be the first to introduce the XLR to the Canadian airline,\u201d said Steven Udvar-H\u00e1zy, Executive Chairman of Air Lease Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Air Transat&#8217;s new leasing agreement with our trusted partner ALC represents another key milestone in the renewal and simplification of our fleet undertaken since 2017. Together with the A321LRs, the XLRs feature as a cornerstone of Air Transat&#8217;s 2022-2026 strategic plan. the airline,&#8221; said Annick Gu\u00e9rard, President and CEO of
