The United States is one of Iberia’s <\/strong>priority markets, and will continue to be so in the coming months. It is the country where the airline concentrates its greatest capacity: this summer it is offering flights to eight destinations: Dallas and Washington, New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Boston and San Francisco, plus Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And next winter season, which starts on October 29, it will offer more frequencies and seats than in the same period of 2019. Specifically, it has planned to offer 589,000 seats, an increase of 15% over 2019, and around 2,000 flights, 21% more than the year before the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Iberia will offer three daily flights to Mexico City in winter.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iberia is also incorporating new destinations. Flights to Dallas, which were initially launched to operate this summer, will be maintained during the winter season, initially with three weekly frequencies, which will be gradually increased to a daily flight starting in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dallas is the main hub for American Airlines, a partner of Iberia, British Airways, Finnair and Aer Lingus in the agreement to operate routes between Europe and the North Atlantic, which has contributed to generate enough traffic to maintain this route also in winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the airline is growing in several U.S. destinations compared to last winter, when restrictions on travel from Europe were not lifted until November. In Miami it will increase from 10 to 14 weekly frequencies and in New York, from 10 to 13 weekly frequencies, which will increase to 14 in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights to Los Angeles will also increase their offer, since with the start of the summer season, in April 2023, they will be operated with A350 aircraft, with greater capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
