{"id":131880,"date":"2022-10-03T12:16:33","date_gmt":"2022-10-03T12:16:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=131880"},"modified":"2022-10-03T12:16:37","modified_gmt":"2022-10-03T12:16:37","slug":"royal-jordanian-to-increase-its-fleet-with-20-airbus-a320neo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2022\/10\/royal-jordanian-to-increase-its-fleet-with-20-airbus-a320neo.html","title":{"rendered":"Royal Jordanian to increase its fleet with 20 Airbus A320neo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Royal Jordanian Airlines<\/strong> has reached an agreement with <strong>Airbus<\/strong> to introduce 20 new A320neo family aircraft into its fleet, replacing the 13 A320ceo aircraft currently in service, the airline&#8217;s CEO Samer Majali said in an e-mailed statement Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/09\/airbus-delivers-its-500th-a350.html\">Airbus delivers its 500th A350.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move is part of the airline&#8217;s plan to increase its total fleet size from 24 to more than 40 aircraft in the next 3-5 years, Majali said. Negotiations are also underway with Boeing to increase the number of 787 aircraft from 7 to 11 in the next few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting in the second half of next year, Royal Jordanian plans to introduce new regional aircraft to give the airline the flexibility and leverage to increase its flight frequencies to all major and secondary destinations in the region, Majali
