Among the favorite destinations for Colombians this season are: Bogota, San Andres and Riohacha, and on international routes, Madrid, New York and Montevideo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2022\/10\/avianca-to-reactivate-aviatecas-operation.html\">Avianca to reactivate Aviateca\u2019s operation.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The week of recess is the perfect opportunity for many families to travel to their favorite destinations, this is why the influx of travelers increases for these dates, which requires strong cooperation between airlines, aviation authorities and migration to streamline processes. Likewise, passenger compliance with punctuality requirements at airports and entry to their destinations will facilitate the success of this week,&#8221; said Frederico Pedreira, Chief Operating Officer of Avianca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to have a smooth operation and with the objective that travelers receive a timely and quality service, it will be essential to continue working together between authorities, airlines and concessionaires, mainly on the following fronts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Departure and entry processes to Colombia: The coordinated work between Migraci\u00f3n Colombia, the Civil Aeronautics and the airlines will continue to be paramount to achieve a successful season. The presence of available migration officers, as well as the arrival of travelers 3 hours in advance to the migration modules are factors that will facilitate and expedite the operation.<\/li><li>Operational and weather challenges at El Dorado: Reliable weather forecasts will make it possible to plan the operation adequately and anticipate more complex weather conditions, thus helping to manage the impact of possible capacity reductions due to bad weather or low visibility.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"related-topics\">Related
