Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas and Gol Linhas Aereas<\/strong> will start operating their “air bridge” between Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo on November 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement had been previously made official at the “Panrotas Forum 2022” that took place in Sao Paulo a few months ago and new details were made known during the presentation made this Monday at the “ALTA Leaders Forum 2022” in Buenos Aires, which brings together the main players of the airline industry in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The “air bridge” between Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo will allow passengers to change their reservation on the day and up to 3 hours before the departure of the flight they wish to travel on: at no additional cost for those with a Premium, Flex or Plus fare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With scheduled departures every 2\/3 hours between both airports, the agreement allows frequent and corporate travelers to better plan their day according to their activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, at both airports there will be exclusive counters that will allow passengers to save time and have priority boarding if they so wish. Also, Aerol\u00edneas Plus Platinum and Diamond passengers and Smiles Gold and Diamond passengers will be able to add an extra piece of baggage in the hold. Likewise, those who have purchased a fare without free baggage allowance will be able to use this benefit to have a checked bag free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We have a long-standing relationship with Gol through a code-share agreement that allows travelers to connect from multiple destinations in both countries. The launch of this air bridge strengthens this relationship and benefits our passengers who can now travel in one direction or the other with an expanded and robust offer. It is another step forward that highlights the importance of the Brazilian market for us,” said Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The two companies offer a comprehensive joint operation from both Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo with a very successful codeshare agreement. With the start of our airlift, we have the most convenient offer in the region, expanding the possibilities for our customers,” commented Celso Ferrer, CEO of Gol Linhas Aereas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
